1931 Model A Rear Fenders

Hello,

I am having trouble installing the welting around the rear fenders. Everything fits well except the very back of both rear fenders. There is about a 1/2" gap between the body and the rear fenders. I think they are aftermarket. I will ry to post pic's soon, but has anyone else had this problem? Any easy fix?

Hi Brent,

It is kind of hard to see, here are a couple of pic's. It is a Tudor. Both sides have the same problem. I found out the fenders are originals.

It looks like Someone Has worked on the fender and made it to flat on the inner panel.

The inner fenders were replaced with aftermarket ones, the fenders do not look like they had anything done to them.

i think he ment fender wells but i dont think that is his problem mabey wrong fenders

From the photos you may have some inner fender well damage. It maybe in causing missalinement with rear fender. Jim

I've gotten it real close, but still not close enough to hold the welting in place.

Hoping someone has some pic's of this area, might tell me if my alignment is off.
