I was mounting the special hinge screws on my 36 woodie the recently and noticed that the washers supplied by Roy R922 in his catalog couldn't be the correct ones as I still had about half the originals. I had also ordered a set of washers from Ed Clarke, the "wooideologist." Ed's washers were close to the originals.
Today I contacted Roy. After he looked at the pictures I emailed him he said the washers I had gotten from him were the wrong ones and he would send me some of the right ones.
I had contacted him of the mistake as I know he has a very good reputation of having the right bolts for old Fords. He is very knowledgeable and spotted the mistake in seconds. I was impressed. These are parts for a rare cars, woodies or sedan delivery only. Someone had mistakenly packaged up Model A floorboard washers for the correct woodie washers.
