Does anyone know if Ed Dathe's cut-away Model 'A' is on display anywhere?

If you're referring to the cutaway that was displayed at the French Lick meet, here are the only photos we took of it. This chassis sure represents a lot of hard work and dedication. I can't find where my wife put the French Lick program book to verify the builder's name, and she's out right now, so here's the photos anyway.

Sorry, I have no idea where if it's displayed. Hope this is the one you're referring to.

Great pictures Dave!

Picture 5 in forground I see the two homemade "jackstands" complete with handles made from draw pulls screwed to the side.

The stands are just like the ones I remember Stan Francis of Golden Restoration made from Model A axle housing. Stan had many tools made from old Model A and T parts around the shop. I wish I taken pictures of the tools he made back in the 50s, 60s and 70s before he sold the business to Bob Esbenson.

Great memories!

Great movie David thanks.

In talking to Ed at Terre Haute about his wonderful cutaway he said he would like to donate it to the MAFFI Museum when the building is finished. I hope that works out as it would be a wonderful exhibit at a great location.
As far as I know it is at his home currently,
Ken
