OK Guys...

Just what is the difference between the A-3122 and AA-3122 Spindle Bolt Locking Pin?

I know the AA-3124 Spindle Bolt Locking Pin Nut is "approximately 1/8 inch longer" than the A-3124...but what about the Pin?

Is the "AA" pin longer in the threaded area than the "A" pin?

In reading the September 1929 FSB, Page 378, no "AA" pin is mentioned...just the "AA" nut.

Thanks.

It's the early style round pin for the "AA" trucks. I have to assume the head on the AA pin is "approximately 1/8 inch longer" to keep the tires from hitting the brake rods. I wonder how many restored trucks have the car versions and have a problem with that???
