I am looking for a good paint for the engine/bell/flywheel housing/transmission and would like to know your input. I have searched the fourm and read the various replies but am still unsure of a good paint that holds up well to the heat and overall use. I like the color of the Snyder's paint, but it is only rated to 200 degrees. POR-15 is too shinney, and Mac's looks really dark. I have not tried the paint from Roy Nacewicz. I heard of the Hunter green/blue/black rustoleum combination but I have not tried that yet either and it being an enamel I am concerned that it will not last long.
What do you use on your engine?
Help me get my 155-A back on the road where it belongs and not all apart in my garage where my wife rides my a$$ about the space it takes up.
Thanks.
