purchased a timing indicater from guy on the bay...he told me and the bay i sent him a forged postal money order....i did not! ebay found in his behalf, probably before reviewing facts...ive send inquiry to postmaster to get my money back as the bay will not...just corporate greed the bay is......beware....even govmt issued money orders being refused, forged , and generally frauded one way or another....such goings on even in the model a hobby....beware, beware........:mad:
 
You may also have the postal inspector look into it. They will probably go and ask him for it as evidence in a forgery case. Ebay scares me every time I deal with them which isn't often I worry. Richard

Yea, report it to the Postal Service those guys in the inspection service are like pit bulls especially with all the financial problems they are having, they are out to prove they are needed.
 
I NEVER have, and NEVER will buy anything FROM E-BAY!!!
Too mank FLAKES on there! Just read the ads & you can spot many. The problem is that some are very SMOOTH & may be very good CON ARTISTS. It's very hard to tell the really GOOD guys from the CON MEN BASTARDS! Bill W. (I don't even trust my Ghost, but the dog is O.K!)
 
Check feedback for a good indication of character and honesty. Good feed back doesn't come easily.
 
the flake is me i have, a copy of the fake money order and a reciept and forgery report from the post office. also 100% on ebay. going back to ebay and the postal service,about herasment. tired of this guys crap for a $30.00 fake.
 
Years ago, I worked at the Post Office as a branch delivery driver. Several of us were under investigation for stealing money(registered mail going missing) The culpert was the clerk that handeled it before we ever got it. If both of you maintain your innocence, maybe there is a 3rd party involved
 
I use PayPal and pay with credit card and never have any problems.
I have separate PayPal bank account and transfer money from PayPal to bank account with no problems.
I have bought and sold many things with out any problems since using PayPal.
 
Never a problem here both selling and buying on eBay. List with integrity and provide clear pictures, and expect the same. LOOK at the pictures and then decide for yourself if you want to complete a transaction. Low number of feedbacks? Everybody has to start somewhere.

That is exactly how I do it. It is important to set up a separate checking account strictly for paypal purchaces or sales. Been doing it for years and have never had a problem. I have even shipped parts overseas with no problem.
 
My biggest problem is being able to contact a knowledgeable person @ eBay to understand the problem. Because of that I deal less and less with eBay.
 
I use PayPal and pay with a CC. Have bought several things from Miss Victoria on eBay and never had a problem.
 
yes i also only use pay pal, this guy said his pay pal was not working would i please take a money order.never again pay pal only.also when i buy on ebay i only use my pay pal.
