After 40+ years it's ALIVE!

Don't paint it, looks good as it is. JMO

No plans to paint it! We like it as is. I told the wife if she ever wants a pretty one we will figure out how to do it then. This car has a full history as it came to us.

Looks great. Now get some 21" wheels, a sun visor and a new top then drive it.

It is going to get new tires, top, visor, door seals, tires and interior and then run it. No plans for 21" wheels as we want to keep it as close as we can to as found, as that matches the pictures the previous owner gave us of the car in 1968ish the last time it saw the road.

Man! There ain't nuttin wrong with da car. Run the wheels off it. Richard/Ca

Plan to!

And just for comparison I actually have the rusty headlights in the picture too LOL

It's really cool! Congratulations on keeping another one on the road.

Only comment/concern I have.

Make sure you have 30/31 drums on the car with those 19" rims.

There is a difference between the 28/29 and 30/31 rims/drum combinations.

The 19" rims won't seat properly, and that's a safety issue.

Excellent work..........I applaude your desire to keep it as you found it. That is still original and I would be proud too. Show it off!!

Engine sounded just like one I have. Only trouble with mine it that after it got warmed up, water/steam started coming out all around the head. It ran good for about 5 minutes before I shut it down.
