I have to log in every time even when I have previously clicked on the "remember me" box .Only problem is if I drift off for a cup of coffee etc etc and return after half an hour or so I have to log in again. Is this the same for everyone or is it just me ??? Its a bit irritating after posting a reply to find its a no go !!!.

John in yet another boringly gorgeous sunny morning England.

Yes John, I've had that happen recently and I asked about it. I've had over a hundred posts but still forgot me so don't feel bad. I complained on the questions and suggestions forum and it's been fine in the last few days.
Barry B. in dry but soon to get thundershowers after 22 days New England.

John, no problem here in Canada as well. I do however have a Norton program that runs once a week that wipes out all auto sign in and passwords. Are you able to retain other login programs such as banking etc?

Actually have just been for a coffee and yup had to log in yet again !!! DRAT !!!. I run Norton also but Fordbarn is the only site which has this problem.

John in I was going to hit the grit in my flying 68B but daughter insists we go to the supermarket sunny England.

What are you doing with my car ??? and put the steering wheel on the wrong side !!!. MY 30 cabriolet is the same colour as well. Called "Ford Imperial Maroon " here.

John.

I stay on for ever...until the machine is turned off. I made this opening page a favorite and simply click on the link and within seconds the site appears.

skip.

This is usually caused by a bad "cookie" or expired "cookie"

A cookie is a little file fordbarn or other websites put on your computer when you click "remember me" so that the site can recognize you.

If you know how to clear your cookies do that and then try it again, it should work. However you will have to re-log into all your websites that you have clicked 'remember me' on.

You can clear the individual fordbarn cookie too, and that should only affect your fordbarn log in, but if your not familiar with computers that can be a little harder to do.

Yes, I put the roadster together last year and I decided to put the wheel on the left, LOL. The color is Thorne brown but it sure looks like maroon to me.;)

That happens to me as well. If I stay in the discussions on the forum it seems to be OK, but if I click a link within a thread, like say to look at a picture, I have to log in again.

That's what happens to me also. People use to complain about having to log into the old Ahooga. I find I have to do more logging in on the new Fordbarn than I ever did on Ahooga.

Yes, and when you log in again make sure the user name and password is identical with the right spacing etc. It doesn't bring up the info for reference so I have it written down. Half the time I forget the period or space and it refuses my log in. One day it took four tries with different combinations to get on. Not Fordbarns fault I might add, just my own memory bank.

that happens to me when i run my registery cleaner, or any program that deletes cookies, some virus programs run a check every so often and delete cookies that have been set, maybe thats what is happening to your computer
