What is needed to get started putting an engine like that together? Basic block? How many dollars does it take to acquire an engine like that. Does it still sound like a T? I'm not being impertinent we just want to know. Byron Warwick

That's a really nice car. And that engine is mighty fine. It appears it's still got the original coil box sitting in it. Some day when I hit the lotto, I'm going to be able to afford an engine like that. I guess one of my goals is to keep messing with these old beasts and learning enough until I'm to the point where I can take an engine that needs rebuilding and do the work myself. Once I get to that point hopefully you and I will be able to get together on an ignition setup. But that's obviously in the future. Us old retired guys only get just so much money each month and it's going to take some savings to do it right.

I took this old engine to Ron Miller in Shandon Ohio to start with and then put the access on from there. It is expensive to build a t engine compared to a Chevrolet I guess. Yes it stll sounds like a t chugging down the road..
