Antique cars vandalized....

very sad....like the man said....that poor T had seen so many years thru that windshield....and ended up like that....and the Stude....sigh....probably on somebody's facebook page....or their personal videos.....hope they catch 'em and they pay.....Mike

And they wonder why we need carry laws. I hope this never happens to my cars but if I ever catch anyone in the act I'll put a hurtin' on them like you can't imagine. The problem is they'd never know what hit them and the whole purpose of my retaliation would be lost. And there's always a very good chance I'd end up in prison for a very long time over a couple of old cars. But by God I'd still give a lot of consideration to putting the bas_tards away.

Hard to believe what some people are capable of- so senseless and stupid! I feel really bad for Mr. Keltie and hope they catch the idiots who did this!

I agree with Garrisonm. I have never understood vandalism, it profits no one. I don't agree with theft either but that is usually for capital gain. Hope they catch them & let Mr. Keltie confront them with a baseball bat. It isn't just the dollar value they can't ever be replaced in Mr. Kelties mind.

Several questions and much disgust come into my mind. Very sad situation.

Ditto on the disgust and the questions.

Seems like a very personal attack, not a random act. These savages knew just where to strike to make the most impact on this man. And they knew where the cars were and how to move them. Wonder why they moved the studebaker outside to torch it?

I bet the keys were in the Stude if they were able to run it into the T. This should be a lesson for us, take the keys into the house, even though the car is in a locked garage. I too hope the vandals are caught.

1993 in rural Bel Plaine, KS. I found a private old car lot with a nice '46 PU and 8 or 9 '56-'57 excellent nonrestored Studebakers. There werent any signs that the property had seen activity for many years. Finally located the owners a mo. later to buy the '46. Found out the original owner had died. Arrived with a truck and trailer to pick it up, and to my horror it and all of the Studbakers had been shot to pieces by shotguns, 22's, etc.

The snivelers & bleeding hearts would have fits over it but this deserves an old fashioned back-alley thumpin !!!! Kinda like how the Ruskies dealt with the somali pirates that made the mistake of picking on one of their ships . Bet they think twice bout pickin another Russian ship !!.

This is why the world is the violent place it is. Some people think that they can equate the right to life with the value of an object.

This is why we need guns which they have trying to take away from us. But if you done anything to who ever distroyed the cars you would go to jail.

definitely something odd here. Either personal or the collision with the T set the Stude on fire.

I wonder what kind of effort the police will give to catching the culprits. When/if they do they should be made to pay for the restoration, then go to jail. Unfortunately, if they are kids they probably be told not to do that any more and let go into the arms of their loving parents.

Anyone seeing the cars around town, especially kids with nothing to do, would know where they were kept. The fact that it may have been a personal attack doesn't mean it won't happen to someone else.
