What style are you looking for? To my knowledge, there were several styles of skirts from Ford for the '38 - '40 cars. I have a set of original Ford "bubble - tear Drop" skirts as well as a set of "flat" Foxcraft skirts with the lip on the bottom, I've also seen flat tear drop Ford skirts for the '38 - '40 cars as well as the half round (for lack of a better name) with the key lock positioned at 12 O’clock on the skirt face however, I always thought that they were '37 Ford skirts.

37 skirts are slightly bigger than 38-39, and will not fit.

Do you know if Ford offered the '37 style skirt for the '38- '40 cars? I've seen the '37 style skirts (with the lock) on several '39 Convertible Coupes over the years.

Here in New Zealand, 37-38-39 skirts all look the same, except that 37 skirts are about an inch bigger in circumference, and are too big to fit the 38-39 wheel arch. When you try to put a 38-39 skirt on a 37, just about falls right thru. 37 skirts will fit 36's perfectly....must be same wheel arch. Due to ww2, we never got any 40's here.
