Early Lincoln hubcap clips

Is there a source for replacement hubcap clips for '40s Lincoln wheels? I have some of these aftermarket wheels made by Kelsey Hayes to fit '28-'35 Ford wire-wheel type hubs, but they take Lincoln hubcaps, and some of the clips have gone AWOL. They are a bit like the late '30s Ford wide-5 wheel clips, but appear a little more heavy duty - if those are available I may be able to get them to do the job as an alternative?

Thanks in advance.

There is no one repo-ing the Lincoln hub cap clips. I have used the wide five clips which are a little less substantial. If you can find a rusted out or bent Lincoln wheel with a few good clips you are in luck. If any one has rusted or badly bent wide five wheels or Lincoln wheels, drill out the rivets and save the clips. You or someone else can use them in the future. Get rivets from a hardware store to replace the new clips.

Thanks Clem - I generally try to avoid looking at VWs, but will make an exception in this case :)

While we are on the topic of looking at VW's also check out the fender welting they used on the old (maybe current also) VW's. Looks just like early ford but but is some type of synthetic that lasts forever. Good choice for a non show car.
