1930 murray female dovetails

My 1930 murray town sedan needs the female dovetails replaced for all four doors, yet the std one is 3" tall and does not fit? The part's house's sell one 3 1/4 ling but it does not say it is for the 30 town sedan/ any help

I have the same problem. I have one coming from Bratton's in a couple of days. It said in the catalog it was for a 155C. If it fits I will let you know. If you have all the old parts the box can be tig welded back together.

Are your originals actually missing? On the '29 155-A I worked on 25+ years ago I took the female assemblies and opened "the back of the box" (vertical rear tab) and inserted new guts. I don't recall exactly, but at least one back split at the fold and we tack welded (tig) the back on in a couple places.

iweld, I just received a female dovetail from Bratton's, PN 30920. It fits perfectly, however it won't work with your current male dovetails, you will need to purchase new male dovetails PN 30900. Try to rebuild your originals if you can. Hope this helps.
