I would use a mix and also add "Water Wetter" or "Purple Ice" to bleed off more hear. These products are sold at Advance Auto and other chains that should be open today.

Happy Fourth!!!!

Big Mike...I don't know the answer, but thanks for what you're doing. I'd love to see it. As you stated, you'll fry, what mix will you be using for "anti-boil?"
Have a great INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!!

straight water with water wetter will run cooler but will have a lower boiling point than 50-50 antifreeze. stay cool if possible, and thanks for all.
Happy Independence Day

Anti Boil? , Lobster suace for me because that'll be me a Lobster, LOL thanks Guys I think the purple ice with half water would be the trick , Cheers BM

Mike nothing is going to solve your problem other than a BIG radiator and good duct work to get the air in. If I recall you sit in front of the radiator intake blocking the air flow. I think you have a pretty large fan and a shrould. Without a BIG radiator you will be posting the same problem for years to come. I was at a friends shop who has a lot of cranes and large equiptment a month ago and saw a BIG radiator standing against the wall and thought of you. You also need Skips pumps, yours are pumping 55 gallons each in 5 minutes and his will do 92 gallons. Any restrictions such as thermostats will increase the cooling problem. Make sure the coolant is filled to the top of the neck and stays there. G.M.

Go to the parts store and buy a good product for the type of metal your radiator is made of, follow their instructions, due to the fact that you live in an environment where it freezes use a good anti freeze and summer coolant, summer coolants raise the boiling point. have fun.

Hey Big Mike, I think the others have your ? covered on your tanks cooling system, I would suggest a cooler full of beer and ice to keep your cooling system from overheating :D. Make sure you have Old Glory flying on that tank! Happy Independence Day! J.M.

Sounds good to me

Verify the ignition timing , often overheating is caused by to much retarded timing.
Be sure to have enough advance.
