SOLD! 1928 Model A Roadster

Re: 1928 Model A Roadster

Ok, but again, what makes this a "one of 269"? One of 269 made in this body style, one of 269 made on this day, one of 269 made in 28'. I think you get the idea.

Re: 1928 Model A Roadster

One of 269 made in this body style, from what I have been told and read.
Being this was made in June of 1928 it is NOT considered a VERY EARLY one.. In that total year they made 51,807 U.S. produced Roadsters.. That being said, No way is this information correct...:)

Excuse me, a slip of the finger on the keyboard, it's May 8, 1928. I have corrected it, plus new price.

It is a true, 1928 Ford Model A (AR) Roadster. Beaver tail fenders, brake on left, single brake rod, brake drums/wheels not inter-changeable with standard Model A's, and more.

As I said, I am not an expert on Model A's, just relaying on what four members from this board have told me, after personally looking at it.
Thirty days does not make that much difference in the car, & it is also not an (AR) car.. No such thing.. They also had stopped using that style rear fender by March of that year...

OK, you're the expert, I said I wasn't. You're not interested in the car, so why are you being a troll?

I also said, that some well respected members of the Model A forum on Ford Barn, paid a personal visit to my house several years and said it was an early model a.

I used the term "AR", because most early model a's are referred as AR more than early model a.

It makes no difference to me, whether I sell the car or not. I originally bought it to make a hot rod out of it, but the model a enthusiasts suggested that a model a like mine should be restored, rather than cut up and made into a hot rod.

That's exactly what I am doing, offering it to someone that wants a numbers matching model a project.

If it doesn't sell by April, I've got another frame, with a small block Chevy, just waiting for a body to make a hot rod. What is left over will go across the scales.

This discussion should of been done through pm's, but you chose to ridicule in a public forum.

My car, I do as I please with it. Now go troll someone else.

JR, Well said ! I reviewed your ad several times and no where did you use the word VERY early as complainer/troller embellished.
If I had the extra cash, I'd buy your offering as I love its potential.
What the hell are people doing over here on the swap meet side ...poking sticks in peoples eyes. Do that , if you must, on the forum side:mad:!
JR mabe there's a way to 'block' idiots from harassing you on this side. Check with Ryan/ Cob....
