Macs 41 taillights

Watch out for the 41 tailights from Macs.I just got mine and they are 1/8 inch to wide for housing.When I called they said they will refund money but they had just got 300 in and I'm guessing they are all wrong because they said they were going to check on it and when they called back they offered refund but not to send replacements.

If you're looking for originals.they have them on ebay all the time. I gave mine to a friend when I went to LED taillights. Just finally got tired of gettin pulled over. The original glass was just to dim for the man in blue. Plus I want people to be able to see me. The LEDs only come in 12 volt,that I know of.

Thanks ,I will go with ebay.I know what you mean about getting pulled over,I got pulled over for no parking lights,it was fun trying to explain they only came on when PARKING but legaly they cant do anything if its factory so I'm not worried.

My 48 had dim tail lights on 6v. The previous owner had painted the housings black of all colours. I removed the guts and painted them silver then laid a spray chrome type paint on top. You don't want to touch the chrome like stuff too much as it can rub through. I was amazed at the difference in brilliance so I did the same for my park lights.
