Anybody got a 1939 standard generator pulley? This pulley can be identified as follows: Has a four bolt drilled boss for fan mounting, pulley is threaded so that it screws onto the generator shaft.If you have a generator complete with pulley ... I could buy the whole assembly. I think the pulley came on 1939 standard (not deluxe) passenger cars ...
Any help would be appreciated.

This pulley is also used on the 39 P/U. There are differant diameters, look in the Ford green parts book for numbers and size. G.M.

You need to check if your car came with a voltage regulator or a cut-out.
The generators are different.

I have two different pulleys. Do you think either one is of use to you?

NEIL;

The one you need is in the upper pictures. It has straight cooling vains NOT CURVED.

It looks like the larger diameter one which it the one you are looking for. It may not be threaded but have a smooth bore with a key way which is just fine. Go for it.
