Coulld I have some sidevalve schooling please

Thanks for your interest. Work has started! Body is off, chassis blasted etc. Its not going to be a resto more a 50s style rod with newer side valve, 39 box, juice brakes etc all reversible. Hope to run it fenderless some of the time but its not really allowed down here :( Will try and post pics soon.

Nice car ,Like Lauri I like that old 21 stud pump in head ,the LB block Nov 35 ,basically its the same engine as 37 except the pumps in heads that can be up graded . If its a res-to rod then most people will go for a 91A or later block because of the availability of dress up stuff , but its your call .
Thanks Laurie - appreciate the input

Thats the plan. Will wet and dry where there is primer to see whats under that but that Will be about it.

Not only from the US but from a Ford Barn Classified :)

great start....is the frame square??....from the pic, it looks like the rear from the back of the x-member is tweaked, but probably pic perspective....looks like you're having fun....looking forward to more pics of the build....Mike

I had a 33-5Wwith the B engine.I installed a stock C59A with 39-48 gears in a later case with the 39 or 39-52 shift tower, also had to use the longer V8 DS assyhooked to a modified Columbia rearend. With 4.11 & 2.94 ratios,it ran great & would pull most hills in OD with no sweat.I didnt feel there was any need for any extra power at all.
