Original 29 Roadster Top Bows Dimensions

Metal to metal dimensions are: 33, 34 1/2 and 36 3/8 inches. Is this what you need?

New wood is 34 1/2(dimension from original wood) and other is 33

I need the three lengths rivet to rivet of the tree pieces of flat stock holding the bows together........thanks.

It may be worth noting, in mid-late '29 the front bow sockets were increased in length from 22" to 23". This changed the entire appearance of the top in the up position. Personally I much prefer the aesthetics of the later top but that is a moot point. I should also add that the the wood bows or "ribs" all had a subtle crown so viewing the car from the front or rear the top never appeared flat or even worse, sunken between the top pads.

Looks like another little job for me to replace the front bow. My original is sagging by about 3/8 inch.

So, was there a crown in all the wood bows/ribs on the top side, to allow for weight of fabric and gravity?

It was purely for aesthetics adding shape to the finished top. The rear bow was flat along the bottom but thicker at the center. The center bow was simply made with a crown but equal thickness over it's length. I'm not certain how much crown it had. The front bow had a 1/4" crown facing forward. This is rarely seen on restored cars as the wood kit suppliers don't make it correctly. It looks much nicer when you see one done right.

Below is a pic of Phaeton bows to give you the idea. I don't have any Roadster examples.
