Steering change after engine replacement after

I had perfect steering before I replaced my engine. Even the steering wheel was centered. But since I replaced the engine, the steering wheel is not centered when going straight and the car pulls to the left with moderate braking. The old neoprene ball fell apart when I removed the wishbone bolts to remove and install the engine. I replaced it with a new, but much thinner neoprene ball. Is this the cause of my woes? or is it something else? How can I solve it? If I discard the rubber ball, will ther be too much play?

Replace it with the original spring type. Use the curved washer if necessary to get it tight.

Check you tire pressure. the pulling while braking could be grease on a lining both these issues could cause your problems. Did you change or repair the motor mounts?

35 lbs in all tires. Thought it was brakes at first and started from scratch equalizing all four brakes. Spent about a day using every method I could think of, but no matter which Model A guru's method I used, the pull to the left remained consistent and unchanged. That's when I began to suspect the wishbone. Plus the position of the steering wheel had changed.
