Are the front wheels for a 1926 TT the same as a T?

Yes, same wheels. They switched over to steel wheels somewhere in that time frame but they could be wood spoke or steel spoke on the cars. ( corrective info)

TT trucks were never supplied with steel (wire) wheels. 23" wood until '26 when 21" ballons became available.

I should have mentioned that it was the cars that got the steel spoke wheels and they aren't the same at all. The trucks already had fat tires on the back but they also got them on the front.

My 1924 TT has 23" rear wheels - 32 x 4.5 - pretty skinny !
