What is the best way to wire. I am using 2 terminal strips, on on the + side of the battery and one on the - side. When i hook up my radio its not working. any clues. Thanks

Im not sure you would want to take your ground for your radio right back to the negative terminal, seem to remember something wrong about that, try running it to a chassis ground or engine ground.

Would be nice to know what the application is, Positive ground? Negative ground? Some radios in certain situations are polarity sensitive.

So the next question is...Are you running a 12V negative ground system in the vehicle? These old cars/trucks ran 6v positive ground from the factory. Unless it's been changed over to 12v neg, it's not going to work.
