Where does the radiator mount?

The car is a 42 Fordor .. moving from the G to a moder 302/C4
I am swapping from a 6 cyl to a V8 and am finding out I do not know/understand where the V8 radiator mounts.
Could anyone provide me pictures or links to diagrams of how and where the V8 radiator mounts as opposed to the 6 cyl radiator?
I have a new, made for the V8, radiator and its much wider than the 6 cyl one, so it has to mount further back. I'm just not understanding where.
Maybe I need parts I dont have?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I will add, on EBay there are 1942 Ford V8 radiator supports listed .. will I definitely be needing these ??

1941 was the first G series engine use. Mid year, the pickup received it but it did have a new front cross member. 1941 V8s had the crank mounted fan so they needed room in front. The G series 6-cylinders should have all had the same basic engine mounts but they are different than the V8. The G series was replaced by the H series in 1947. 2GC-6037 and the 2GC-6037 were the early engine mount brackets for the 6-cylinder till the H-6-cylinder came out. The 42 through 47 radiator mounts for pickups were all the same between 6 and 8-cylinders. The passenger cars with the G series 6-cyl had their own radiator and braces. The flathead V8 always had the two water pumps and four radiator connections.

From this, you can see that we can't help much unless we know what year model you're working on. The H series was used right up through 1951. You need a green bible chassis parts catalog for 1948 and older. If newer, then you need one that covers the year model you have.

This will help.
Also GOOGLE" How to install 1948 Ford radiator.

The bottom of the radiator L-shaped brackets bolt to the frame.
I figured it out ... but that just presented other problems ..
I dont have the parts to install a V8 radiator ( availabale on EBay) ..
with the motor going in I dont hace clearance to install trans cooler lines ... (the crank pulley is blocking one of the fitting)
and the fan pulley is so close it wont allow a fan ( i havd a pusher electric on the other radiator so thats not really an issue, but i would like a mechanical fan if I can get away with it .
