1939 seat track anchor brackets

I've been looking online and became aware of the existence of anchor brackets for mounting the seat track to the floor. Did these exist on a 1939 Coupe? Were they welded or bolted to the floor? Does anyone have a picture of them in case I have to re-create them. I don't see that they are available aftermarket. Thanks!

If I understand your query correctly, the answer is "no".
In '39 the seat was simply bolted through the sheet metal floor pan.
In '40, reinforcement braces were welded to the pan to add strength.
Pictures attached of both a '39 floor as well as a '40 floor.

Interesting question. I just checked my '39 coupe and it has brackets bolted to the floor and then the seat is bolted to the brackets. Pretty sure my seat is an original '39. On page 3-25 of the V-8 Club's 38-39 book it talks about seat brackets and adjustment holes in the brackets and adjustment holes in the in the tracks so the seat can be moved up or down or maybe tilted. It says the seat brackets were assembled to the seat tracks with fine thread cadmium carriage bolts. I had a set of the brackets at one time, but not sure if they are still in my pile of parts.

TJ, I believe we are talking about different things.
There were two styles of seat brackets. One style had the "feet" integral of the brackets. The other; what sounds as if you have, have separate "feet".
Regardless of style, in '39 they were bolted directly though the sheet metal, no reinforcing braces involved.
Please note photos in post #2.
I have attached a photo that depicts the two designs of the seat brackets to this post.

Mike thanks for the photo. Looks like there was a change somewhere during the '39 year. With Ford parts (even today) there are changes on the same year model. I call my Explorer the "recall special"! It appears that the seat can only be adjusted forward or back with the bolt holes in the brackets. Looks like you can move the seat about 1 1/2 inch forward or backward. I did find a set of brackets in my parts bin, so if the OP needs them he can send me a PM.

Interesting, Kube. My 39 Convertible Coupe has the separate feet as in the lower set. Could being body #19 of the convertible coupes be the reason? Just curious.
Gosh, I wish my memory was better. I'd restored two '39 convertible coupes and simply can't recall what they had.
I do seem to recall that some body styles had the design with the separate feet.
Sorry I am unable to be more definitive. I'll try to find time to search my notes in the next few days.
Stay tuned please :)
