Prestige Thunderbird, Santa Fe Springs, CA - GOING OUT of BUSINESS

News to me, too!! Frank there certainly helped me very much in the early days of my '56!!

Thank you, Kultulz.

As usual, you guys are welcome ...

Here is the thing -

I probably should have thought to post this a while ago. Prestige is closing by the end of the year. thousands of y block and general Ford parts going in the dumpsters.

I think right now the last active business will end at the end of November. Lots of motors and motor parts, steel wheels (passenger car as well as bird) bumper jacks, disc brake conversions, just to much to even list.

Call them at (562) 944-6237. Frank knows these cars well.

IMO ... :D

As parts sources dry up (especially NOS or quality replacement parts - even modification suppliers are dropping), one needs to maybe source and stock as to future needs.

This will kill the hobby at some point if the gov't doesn't get to it first.

Thank you Sir!

I am going to be 15 miles from there next week as I am delivering a customers car to Fullerton, Ca. I am going to call Frank to see if I could stop by & pickup some stuff for Laura's 57 T-Bird!

God Bless
Bill

!!! SIR !?!

...who came in ...?

If you can do me a favor while there, maybe ask if he has a list of parts and if someone is going to buy him out ...

He has no website that I can find.

I cringe to think of parts going to scrap ...

Good Morning @KULTULZ,

I am sorry but I was not able to stop & see Frank at Prestige on my "Lap of The Country" this week. I had planned on stopping after dropping off 14 miles from him, but the customer I was picking up at next (35 miles south) changed my pickup time as he had a scheduling conflict & it did not leave me enough time to go to Prestige. This is a common occurrence in my world & also missed having lunch with a friend in Missoula, Mt on this trip, because of time constraints!

The customer whose car I was dropping off also had a 57 T-Bird & knew the folks at Prestige, he said they were very good, but if you took your car there for work, it was going to be there for a while because they were so busy. He also said that the business had been for sale for quite some time.

God Bless
Bill

- HEY -

The offer and concern is muchly appreciated. I understand scheduling conflicts.as I have been married to my little thumb-screw for fifty-five (OH GOD) years.

It is nice to know it is being offered for sale and not liquidation.
