Prices are certainly down

The market is collapsing on the street rod and hot rod folks as well. Do you think any percentage of the population aged 20-40 years has any interest in a hot rod or street rod? Nope.

After they pay their $2,000 a month mortgage, $800 a month car payment, put $150 a week of gas in a car, pay insurance and utilities they really have disposable income?

There aren't enough rich folk to prop the market up. Those folks don't buy old cars.

$2,000 mortgage? Where? I'll move tomorrow.

In NJ, two bedroom apartment RENTALS are going for $4,000K a month.

Robert,

I was all set, but once our youngest got all sentimental about selling the house, my wife put the breaks on it. UGH!!!!!!!

I'd love to be your neighbor. LOL!

I understand Tim!!! I’ll remind you of that this January & February when it is sunny and 75 and you’re shoveling snow!!!!

Bite your tongue. You've still got a couple months to think about another Irma.
By NO means am I discounting the threat and or the "past" BUT when you look, historically, at the state history of hurricane's.......because of the shape and location, here in Northeast Florida.....we don't seem to be the center target of them as much as south and west Florida....we are not immune by any means but I've been here 60 years and the last truly devastating hurricane to hit up here was 1964. As for this year.....we have had NONE, no threat (thank God) and given the forecast of weather to come (This mornings new forecast) its looking most likely that the trend will continue AS our weather is fixing to turn perfect (for me) lower temperatures both mornings (60's) and days (low 80's) SO heat and humidity are finally getting to most pleasurable levels and NOT an attractant to hurricane's.

That brings to memory a forecast in the early 70s here when only a 10% chance of snow was the prediction. Somehow we received 10 INCHES !! I believe Mother Nature likes surprises, LOL

My apologies for sounding doom and gloom. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. We all have our natural and un-natural disaster risks, and from what everyone seems to agree on is we're more comfortable with our own than with someone else's. Stay safe!

Definitely down, 34 Woodie below sells for 28k…EFV8’s going to the Model A level from the late 90’s….only a few EFV8’s hold value to date, 33-34 3 Windows, maybe Roadsters, everything else way down….I sold my cars and all my parts other than two boxes of the small stuff I like, and a steering wheel…

Michael - The 1934 Phaeton looks to be an older restoration and if it passes your looking at it, then it's a deal. I personally don't like the phaeton body style, but it sure looks great. It would look even better in your garage!
