Aug. 7, 2026 is national PurpleHeart Day. THANK YOU to all who have shed their blood for our country including my brother CSM Joseph Pullen ( RIP below).

My grandfathers' brother was shot down and killed in a B24 B25 or B26, I can never remember which one of those planes it was. When my grandfather died, I inherited all of his stuff. His brother's purple heart was hanging on a wall at his house and when he passed away his other brother and asked if he could have it. He had named his son after his brother that had died in the bomber. So, I took if off the wall and gave to him. It went to live with a grandson that he was named after.
