Anybody holding on to the outdated judging standards after you get the new ones?
If so, for what purpose?

Second thought….i may keep them to add to my clutter!! And other worthless keepsakes!

Every year when I ask for volunteers to Judge in Fine Point, someone will announce, 'Put me where you need help'.

'What is your 'special' Area of interest or chose three from the Judging Standards" so I can best place you with a Team'

"O' I don't have a copy."

Every year.

I think it depends upon how much change there is in the standards. Old standards are better than none, but I think the new ones are essential.

I think it would be best to gift my old one to someone new who is interested in authenticity.

If anyone has a copy of the old standards that they plan on getting rid of, I’d happily pay shipping. Mr Shinn, I’m not sure what you quantify as “new” but my one year anniversary of my first Model A is August 21st. The new standards look amazing, and some day I will pick up a copy and pay the old standards forward, but for now the older copy is perfect for what I’m doing.

You want mine?

Took my old version camping with us a couple weeks ago, spent one of the campfire talks sharing everything about me and my "A" the other families on our trip really enjoyed and learned a lot about the Model "A" .......and then used them for kindling the next night.

If everybody threw everything away as soon as it became obsolete or outdated we wouldn't have any A's or parts around.

While there are some updates and there are some new photos (and a lot of the previous JS black and white photos in their actual color form) the information isn't dramatically different in a lot of aspects. The old JS is still a very good reference and if someone restores their car to those standards, it will be extremely accurate.
