I have tried to install new felt on several of these carbs and always end up in a struggle. Anyone have the secret on a good install of the felt and washer without cobbling up the retainer lip on the main carb body?

ultrasound cleaning of the body usually cleans the felt and they don't need to be replaced. Couple dabs of PC on the washer to the body casting will work.
