Budd cab seat spring retainers

Looking for the retainers that lock / guide the seat spring (cushion) into the riser for 82b Budd cab

I have those on my 1930 closed cab seat! broke off tho so put some long bolts and plate to hold seat in. You will probably have to make some.??

Snyders custom makes seat springs and, of course, also offers seat springs for just about any Model A.......so maybe they could help you out with what you need.

This is exactly what my 1931 82B Budd cab seat retainers look like. It's not a very good design in my opinion and the retainers aren't very secure as they need to be pulled forward every so often to make good contact with the riser. Because of this I don't store anything under the seat.

These work Great couple of plates,zip tie,Bolt with tape or what ever. been there for 25 plus years!
