'35 Ford lubrication

My '35 has 7,500 miles. Just as background info.
Is there a reliable suggestion for taking it in to get lubricated? Anything special I should know? Thank you.

Not every grease fitting should be lubricated with chassis grease, Ford used different products to lubricate different components. The ones that come to mind are the leaf springs and the universal joint. Look for a copy of the lubrication chart for your year to see the different products used and where they should be lubricated.

Hopefully you're not going to try to take it to a chain store
I would suggest you learn how to maintain that car because there's not too many people that are capable of doing so.
If you're incapable or unwilling then I would find an independent shop with some gray-haired people on the work floor
Granted, they won't know how to handle that car either but their fathers probably had something similar and they learned at their dad's knee.

While I would have liked to had that car I fully realized that the maintenance issues are more complex than I care to deal with.
That is why I went with the shoe box, they are a lot simpler to maintain

Thank you all very very much. I just needed some encouragement. My Ford's article was called My Grandpa's Ford in V8 Times magazine.

Did you know that the factory-recommended chassis lubrication interval for a shoebox Ford is every 1,000 miles (or once a month, whichever comes first)? I'll bet most people don't, which is the reason a lot of them have premature worn out front suspensions. I am lucky enough to have a car that was pampered all of it's life, and the front suspension is just fine at 85,000 miles. My last grease job from a normal car repair shop was $115, so I now do my own They also recommend changing the filter every other oil change but I ignore that and change the filter with the oil. Also, the once a month grease jobs are probably not necessary these days.

Given how complex the shoebox front end is I can see that. We come from the mountains in Oregon where it rains 9 months out of the year. When we were both working an every other month grease job was mandatory.
