cody kyle & joe welcome guys ,& yes ive always had great service from you guys ive mainly dealt with joe but as i understand it now hes sort of parttime great product & 1 of the best shippers around trev nz.

Just for fun, I'll relate the following story: I attended the last EV8 Central Meet in Auburn; while there, I was telling some folks about the great service I received and the perfect fit (US Made!) master cylinder for Henry - 1947 Ford PU. One of the guys asked if I had ever met, in person, Clyde or Gail. When I replied "no" - he suggested I turn and look - they were sitting right beside me - we all had a great laugh, and I was able to reiterate how pleased I was with everything from C & G. By the way, Clyde's Coupe is just gorgeous!

Only ordered one thing so far, but you were the only one who had my muffler in stock. came quick. I try to buy local if I can, but if I can't then you get the call.

I called C&G to request a catalog several years ago and who ever I talked to wanted $5.00 for the '32-'72 catalog. They wanted my credit card # to pay for the catalog which they said would be reimbursed on my first order over some dollar amount. I said just send me the catalog and I will look through it and place a sizable order. They said no way we can't do that.... so after that C&G was crossed off my vendor list. How much do your catalogs cost today?
 
Done business with these guys before. Fast service and they know there stuff. If there does happen to be a problem, they'll make it right.

BTW, C & G are not the only ones that do this. I've had similar experience from two other well-known vendors, also.
On the plus side, C & G provides the best delivery service to me, hands down, of any of the vendors !!!

So who likes to get fast service and delivery with parts that are nothing but fecal matter? Not me.
 
Welcome to the Barn. I've bought from you over the years and never once was let down on service or quality. Always good response from who ever I talked to.

Give us a call at 800-266-0470, let us know who you are(we WILL keep your identity safe) and one of us will look up your file and figure out what went wrong! You should :eek: NOT :eek:, have had to pay for freight if it was not your fault!

Zip, Zero, nada, nothing for 5 plus years now! Let's just say some business decisions are not the best and needed to be fixed. Go to our website www.cgfordparts.com and order one free or give us a call and get one for free. I will tell you upfront, they go by bulk mail to save money and take a few weeks to get to you.
 
I like the C&G sedan delivery. What does the inside look like? I've only seen pics of the outside.

Also, the tshirt with the delivery and the B-24 in the catalog: A. who is the artist, and B. is it available as a poster? Didn't see anything in the catalog, so I thought I would ask.

Hi Dorothy, thanks for the response with clarification. It could have been 5 years ago (time flies fast when having fun with old Fords:D). I will contact C&G for a catalog and add you folks back on my vendor list:). The delivery time for the catalog will not bother me. Perhaps you will have a new customer soon
I do hear many good things on various websites about the parts and good service that C&G provides. Thanks for joining here and providing your services to this hobby!!
 
My experience (several years ago) with C&G Early Ford Parts was very postive and the guy I talked to was very helpful (can't remember his name).
