More Model A abuse and dangerous behaviour !

Canterbury Vintage Club of New Zealand hold their IRISHMAN'S RALLY over Queens Birthday weekend in South Canterbury and Mackenzie around Twizel and Fairlie using back roads and farm tracks in early winter. its a massive 2 day event in the beautiful back country of South Island.

My wife and I have crossed the Tasman lots of times for various car events but one I have never been able to do (for lack of a car in NZ) is the Irishman. I thought I had it organised for the 2017 event shown but my (Ex Kiwi) friend went to America to catch up with his Brother in Law so it was postponed. By the time the next one came around, he had been diagnosed with MND and he brought his Model A (that we were going to use) to Australia.
Now that he had passed and I have no car in NZ, unless I can hitch a ride, I guess it won't happen. :(
BTW, I recognised some of those cars and drivers driving these cars the way that was intended.

Synchro ,I am sure if you just turned up on the day you would be offered a seat . You could probably take your pick .We are like that over here.:)

A long way to go on the off chance. If I can arrange a ride (preferably in a Model A), I'd be there. Thanks heado
