Newc Well-known member Mar 16, 2026 #1 Steel backed floaters! 48-6211 J-2 What size?? Found a full engine set [4] for the rods. Newc
Kube Super Moderator Mar 16, 2026 #2 Newc, are you certain about the J-2? Maybe JJ? 48-6211-JJ is crank .040" under, connecting rod, standard

Bored&Stroked Well-known member Mar 17, 2026 #3 I can't find any reference to them. As noted by Kube - JJ is for .040 under on the crank. Usually when I see something weird like this it tends to be oversize on the rod bore. I'd mic them to find out.

Newc Click to expand... They might be steel on the inside - with bearing material plated on top, but definitely not steel on any of the bearing surfaces. Note: This is how most bearings are made for all autos.
