42 truck defrost nozzles

Hello Gentlemen,
Are the driver side and passenger side defrost nozzles two different shapes or are the same ? Because the passenger side nozzle(where it connects to the flex hose ) just about touches the top of the glovebox cardboard insert and to connect the defrost flex hose leaves a bad kink in the hose almost pinched which would limit little to no defrost air to the passenger side of the window . Im reaching out here for advice and knowledge .

It sounds like you have 1940 Ford truck defrost nozzles. I have attached several photos of 1942 - 47 Ford Truck, pickup and panel defrost nozzles.
