1930 / 31 Stainless Cowl Bands

Hello; does anyone make a good replacement cowl band for my 30 coupe? I could easily restore it - if I had one, I've done stainless for 35 years - but my car is missing one and I would like to replace what is missing and just move on with the car. Any dealer, any individual, your suggestions are welcomed.
Thanks :D

Steve -
Check your private messages on this website by logging in. I send you a PM yesterday. PM's are easy to miss if one doesn't check them often. I offered a solution to your problem with an original cowl band. See details in the PM.

Keep in mind that their are two current manufacturers . Vintique makes one in Taiwan, and Ahooga Mfg. Makes one in Ohio. Needless to say which one is better. Originals are better yet. We have both the Ohio and originals.

Good evening, everyone. I, "AHOOGA A & T" am currently working on bringing all of our in-demand sheet metal parts back in inventory including the 1930-31 Cowl Band.
I recently finished our website, and the Cowl Bands are listed as not in stock.
I have all of the Rear Fender Patch Panels available and in stock. We also have the Quarter Patch Panels, Door Skins, Bottom Door Skins and the next thing is getting the Cowl Bands made.
I will probably start with the plain carbon steel Cowl Band for the trucks. I guess if you are in a real hurry and can't wait you could buy one of those and have it chrome plated.
Please visit our new website and let me know how you like it.

Thank you all for your patience.

Dale, maybe I'm an idiot, I don't know...but I can only find your old website from what looks like 2007. Is the new website really working?

Guys, I re-worked my old website. The new one is the same name, ahoogaparts.com but much better even though I did it myself.

And I have good news.
I just finished making some plain steel Cowl Bands and some Un-polished Stainless Steel Cowl Bands.
I have tried to attach some pictures of what I finished tonight but it is asking for a url// and I don't know how to put them in here like that. Sorry!!!

If you have any questions, please email me.

Thank you, gentlemen.
It's going to take some time before I get some back from my polisher.

Dale, that is great to hear. I just ordered one. I was going to try and straighten mine but I would have to re-polish mine anyway. So I will try this route first. Thanks.

You feel up to talking about it on video?

I just wanted to give you all a heads up. I spoke to the company that is doing the polishing on the Cowl Bands, and they have not even started on them yet.
I was hoping they had at least half a dozen finished by now, but I guess they are booked up.

I will let you know when I have them.
