Using 8.8 rear brakes on a '48 banjo

Back in 2010, a fellow on the HAMB posted about upgrading his banjo rear brakes with the rears from an '87 - '96 F150. The link to his Photobucket account expired and all the pictures are lost. Has anyone on here done a swap like that? I know about the Boling Bros. upgrade, but I have several 8.8s from that year range, and if I can do it cheaper with what I've got, I'd like to. Anyone have any information about this?

There was some trouble with phone users viewing the picture titles that provided the description of the step shown.

I went back and edited the post and added the content.

Mark also switched the pictures to full size.
