They make several references to the deadline for registering as a seller but no mention of what that deadline actually is. Payment is in advance but they only communicate via mail?

We, (my wife and I) went to the Albany, Oregon swap meet. Wow, that was a big place. I can't believe they put that all together for just a one day deal. Only problem was we didn't take the wife's Walker and she had to give up, so we didn't get to see it all. Next time we will be better equipped.

Mel,

Sounds like an interesting swap meet. I’ll keep it in mind for next year.

My wife uses a walker too and it has a seat. She tells me to go ahead and walk around while she walks as far as she can, then she sits down and talks to people. I can still get around faster than she can so we’re done sooner and then I take her to breakfast.

We also rent scooters when they are available at the larger swap meets.

We have been ******* with driving our grand kids to school and picking them up for the last 20 years. Our last grand daughter is a senior in high school so we will finally be free this summer.

I’ve exhausted the meets in Southern California so we hope to visit some swap meets in Northern California, Oregon and Washington next year if we’re still around.

I went as well, as soon as I figured out how to be a last-minute vendor. Wish I had brought more Model A/B stuff because I sold more than expected. I met a lot of nice folks and a few interesting characters. One of them referred to me as an "old coot", a hard-earned moniker that I will wear with pride.
