Hello, I am trying to get all the specifications ( sho wen in the pictured brass plate) for the 1007B cam in order to stamp into the brass cam plate.

Appreciate it if anyone can help out

Thank you
John

I know this from over a year ago, but I’m looking into more details of overall flathead performance, and I myself have a 1007B installed in my C69A re-ground by “Pete”. Here is a pic of the original? Isky 1007B spec I saved in one of my photo albums from 2019.

Not sure how to read the chart, but comparing the intake and exhausts durations at 0.015” lift seems very close to the numbers at 0.020” lift if I’m reading things correctly.

Durations @ 0.015” lift
Intake - 262.8
Exhaust - 260.3

Durations @ 0.020” lift
Intake - 256
Exh - 254

This link recently came up in a HAMB thread. Interestingly, the Isky 1007 series of cams are not listed. I’m no expert, but comparing specs it seems the Schneider 250F is very close to the 1007B

Yes, the Schneider 250F (now referred to as 260F) is very close to the 1007B, for that reason I called Jerry Cantrell at Schneider Cams intending to order one and was told "no can do" as they can't get any new cam blanks. Bummer.

To best compare cams the parameters should be standardized. This value is 0.050" of lift

This is a comparison that I pulled together

And presented as a wheel

Good info. Thanks for posting. Looking at your chart/cam circle diagram, I have a question. Overlap for the 1007B is listed as 35 in the chart, but looking at the illustration it seems to be around 15 degrees of overlap. Am I reading the illustration correctly?

The wheel values are all based on .050" lift.

9 + 5 = 14°

versus

20 + 15 = 35°
