Trying to remove the doors but can't figure out how to remove the limiter bar. (The thing that keeps the door from opening too far)

Thanks Bob, so I just straighten those little tabs out? Can you tell me where to buy these and what they are called?

Synders, Berts, Bratton’s ( for a short time ) have catalogs that are free ! And they have nice pictures, drawings, nomenclature !
My standard no fender mounted spare tired late 31 Tudor has the door checks pictured above and they work very well.
I would remove the pin on the door to remove the check, btw I just had to do this as the rubber part disintegrated and the door would lock in the open position ! need to raise the arm a little to close , a pain in the back

I used a pin punch and knocked the pin out, reused the pin when I installed it, you could drill out the pin but be careful not to remove surrounding metal not over sizing the pin holes

When you reassemble do not forget to replace this piece, it keeps the door check from rattling against the door frame.
