This is basically the last job to do on the Model B and it has me stumped. New wiring from Rhode Island which should be correct but the bullet type or round end terminals fitting to the NOS two wire pigtail is my problem. The black plastic plug is probably the problem if terminal ends are correct, the pigtail ends fit in correctly but no way new wiring terminals fit. I wish I had been able to find NOS Ford plugs but this is all I have. I have called Rhode Island wiring to see if this is correct terminals but no call back yet.

In my experience with both NOS and Rhode Island wiring the problem is not the wiring ends, but rather the plastic plug that the wire ends fit into. The original red plugs work and the black ones do not, often as not.

I would also post your question on the Model A forum herein as the plugs are carryover Model A parts.

I haven't seen the red ones for sale in quite awhile. I had a pair a few years ago for a '31 Ford and should have kept them.

Snyder's offer a kit which includes the wire ends as in #3 above and a reproduction plastic plug. One would hope that they are compatible with one another.
