8BA 90° brass weatherhead fitting

8BA 90° brass weatherhead fitting

Managed to booger the brass fitting trying to remove it with a box wrench. Bought proper weatherhead socket and it came out with a breeze.
Does anyone know what size the threads are, assuming npt going in the block, and 7/16 inverted flair for the oil line.

Additionally does anyone have like a Napa or some other parts house number for this fitting? I did a quick google search but havent turned up anything over than a $30 one on eBay.

Not sure what fitting you are having issues with, but the oil lines at the back of the block are 1/4" npt.

A photo would be good but you need more postings before being able to post a photo.

It’s the brass fitting near the oil pressure sensor, that the oil pipe hooks to, to supply the oil filter caniste.

I think he already saw that one. And didn't like the price any more than I would.

Thanks for everyone’s help. I ended up ordering from Grainger. New fitting worked great. Glad to be getting my shoebox back on the road.
