8BA oil pump shaft bushing removal?

Anybody got any advice on how to remove the oil pump shaft bushings? I have some old cores and started tinkering with them. I have the top one tapped for a 9/16 bolt and was going to make a crude puller but the pump is awkward in the vise. Somehow would like to rig something in my press.

I got them out. Tapped them to 9/16, put my bolt in and drove out each side with a drift from the other side, crude but worked.

You may need to have the new bushings honed with a Sunnen pin honing machine to get perfect minimal clearance and bushings aligned with each other. At least that’s my approach.
