36 speedometer cable question

Whats the thread pitch on the transmission side 36 3 speed transmission
I have a modern dolphin guages in there now and need to grab the correct cable
Looks like the guage side is a 5/8 x 18

See if your stock cable (transmission end) will screw onto the speedo. I believe both are the same thread. If so you need to get a cable the same length as your stock cable with two female ends.
