Brining a van-load of shoppers and gawkers with me to this show. It's a relatively small show but dense with the good stuff! Plus being tucked into the slope of the mountains makes a for a beautiful morning drive and show field scenery.

I plan on being there also. I have gathered up a variety of items to sell that are just collecting dust here in my shop. Long range forecast looks like the weather will be good, too!

Our 11th year now and keeps getting bigger. Should be between 75- 100 vendors coming from all over the US.

Het Wick What time does it start?

I have been going through my shop gathering parts to take to this meet. I am amazed at all the things I have come up with. I've found Model A parts, Ford V8 stuff, things that I had completely forgotten I had! Should be almost a pickup load of goodies. It's obvious I haven't been a vendor at a swap meet in some time.

I went yesterday for a short time. What great meet. Every vendor had Ford parts, Model T, Model A, V-8. No junk, no crap tools, nothing but good ole Ford parts. Reasonable prices and great people. I'm used to going down a row and wading through lots of stuff and occasionally finding a Ford part. Here virtually everything was a Ford part so it took a bit of adjusting to get use to the density of goodies. If you missed it this year, plan a visit for next year. It's right next to Shenandoah National Park and near Luray Caverns. Lot's of things to do nearby.

I was there Friday and I was amazed at the turnout of venders in spite of the light rain. The rain cleared out by noon though and the weather was fine the rest of the day. Lots of venders with great Ford "stuff"! Spectators were buying and I moved some items. I could not return on Saturday due to a previous commitment. All in all it was a very good experience and I will return next year.

I was there Friday morning. I got to meet several friends and chat. Met Steve (ndnchf). Enjoyed meeting him and chatting. Had a great time. Lots of great vendors and people!
Thanks!

I was there on Friday and came home with several good items. No admission and no parking fee. Maybe the folks at Charlotte AutoFair should visit and take a few notes.

Thanks to the VFW for putting on a swap meet where the only thing for sale are parts. So nice not to have to wade through tee-shirts, foreign made tools, etc. and new bling. Their hot dogs and hamburgers were pretty good as well.

and to think I sit here in Pigeon Forge, having wasted 2 days of my life, plus about $1500 in travel expenses for the GrandNationals. I could shoot myself. Be seeing you fellas next year in Luray!

I talked with a lot of folks there. People came from all over - Illinois, :DOhio, North & South Carolina. One fellow brought an open trailer full of good parts from Baton Rouge, Lousiana!

Its says a lot about the swap meet when we are here a full week afterwards still singing its praises.

Maybe we need it twice a year - one in the fall too :D

Apologies to all for hijacking this thread, but I just joined (can't yet send DM's), and wanted to reach out to SteveO - and anyone else who might be able to help me - about a 1961 HiPo four door I'm looking at. I'm an old Mustang guy but recently discovered these very cool cars. I've gone and looked at the car and it appears to be all there in good condition, but I have some particular questions since I'm not yet versed about these cars. If SteveO or anyone else wants to DM me their email, I'll gladly provide my contact info and cell. Many thanks in advance. - Dave (Plano, TX)
