Let's meet the "Model 40" guys,... 1933/1934

Harms Way, no, built my 34 Roadster from scratch over the last 15 years. Wanted it like ones I saw back in the 60's!!

Thanks,

That's a beautiful truck and I like the direction that roadster is heading! You are one luck y dude!!

Here is mine...the first pic is how I found her...just swaped out the worn 1950 flathead for a re-built 1950 flattie...trying to finish this one up nice as time and cash allows! Its going to be an early styled hot rod....I would love to own a stock Model 40 but thats only if I hit the lotto!! hahaha

I would like to paint it Washington Blue next year and put the grill shell and radiator back to stock position...one day at a time..lol

Nice old hotrod!! It'll look great in Washington Blue!

I've had a 33 Fordor for 23 years...And I'm almost finished,I'm embarassed to say . Good things sometimes take awhile. I'll post pics when it's done and when somebody shows me how to post them....'til then..Dick Cape Cod

I've been working on a 34 fordor for the last 16 or so years. Also have a 35 fordor that I've had for 3 yrs. Keep buying something else before I finish anything!

Does mine count. It is a 33 truck with a 34 car chassie. It is a great driver with the 21 stud flathead and 3 speed trans. They shortned the frame and bobbed the rear bed down. I put 19 inch wires off a 30 model a and got 475/500 on front and 700 on rear. Dont know if i will do much to it because i drive it alot and dont want any down time with it.

I don't have a 34 but I'm hoping this will be my next car . I do have a stable of two 1930 Model A's, a 1910 hupmobile and a 1967 Sunbeam Alpine The 34 ticks all the boxes for me in terms of looks . Unfortunately the numbers of original 34's in New Zealand is very limited. I have considered buying in the States and shipping out to New Zealand but I'm quite apphrehensive about getting stung and stuck with an expensive lemon . Karl

This one I actually found at the dumps. The paint was old and faded-nobody wanted it.
