Manners... A new rule...

just looking to find information for my 1936 cabriolet, be it fixes, parts or just good old advice

thanks & maybe this post will allow me to further communicate on this forum!

another sunny top down day here but rather cold for FLA☀️
 
I don't know if this is the proper place to post but I'm having a hard time finding my way around. I am a new kid on the block and just seeking info (help) on various subjects that I might have on 47 Ford Convertible. If I want to ask someone a question (one on one) I can't send them a private message or email because I haven't posted enough? I don't understand..If I want to make a post, I can't post because I haven't posted enough? Please explain.

The forum is for ALL members to provide their individual experiences and not this, "If I want to ask someone a question (one on one) I can't send them a private message or email because I haven't posted enough"

You may have meant otherwise, but you may get an answer right or wrong, but what of someone else with the same questions who isn't privy to your private conversation?

Be aware of what the man posts. I have been swatted several times, have two ARTICLE 15's, reduced in rank, been restricted to company area at least once and BANNED from H.A.M.Bone (that was a favor).

Actually, you can. You just click on the "edit" tab, then go to the "advanced" tab, then you can edit anything you want. I've edited a couple of mine as SOLD just in the last couple of days.

Manners are lacking. Lots is posts ask for help which is provided after at times a fair amount of effort. Then you get no acknowledgement that it worked or not and no thanks for the effort. This is becoming very prevalent here where it didn’t in years past.:confused:

Yes, it can be tempting at times to "blow the horn loudly" like Hueyhoolihan said in his post:

"i had a similar problem and was often frustrated that my horn didn't work when driving around town. it seemed that every two seconds some inconsiderate driver warranted a good, "honking at".

and then when i did get it fixed, it appeared that it also removed all the rude drivers from the road! now i'm hankering to blast someone, and can't find a deserving candidate... politely "tooting" at kids and admirers on the sidewalk just isn't cutting it...i want to really BLAST someone! :)
