Hey guys! What's involved in converting from a single to a dual reservoir master cyl. on a '56 Fairlane?
Manual. I eventually would like to convert to Manual w/Granada disc's. (I don't have the min. 18" of vacuum required to run a power booster)POWER BRAKE or MANUAL?

Paul - my car had the Granada spindles, calipers, etc. already installed when I got it. The booster & master cyl. were shot. I may go non power & do away w/the power booster altogether. Do you remember specificallly what master cyl. you used for a non power disc/drum setup?
Yes - I used the 80 Granada non power master. (A new one of course)
This would be the M/C to use from a '68 Mustang......https://www.autozone.com/brakes-and...alast-brake-master-cylinder-nm1485/248424_0_0
Not sure about the bolt pattern, may have to drill another hole or two.
As far as brake lines, you can use your existing brake tee.....just plug the hole for the rear brakes. You'll need to fab a new rear brake line and also a short one from the M/C to the tee and a shorter one from the tee to the LF brake hose for the front brakes.

I used it's sister M/C #1488 cuz I've got power brakes in my '54 but they're drums all the way around.

You bought that as a kit? Where? I have seen them at Summit, and I think the MFR LEEDS offers them too.
