Interesting to see, even back in the day, SS trim rings!!!! Too bad it has white wall tires with them!!!

That is interesting to me. I also find whitewalls a little out of place put on the 30's "everyday" cars. Then in the 1950's whitewalls became very popular and a car without them looked out of place or cheap. Now we are back in the blackwall era and have been for quite some time. Maybe chrome grilles and bumpers will be back someday.

I know the whole "Its my car" mantra and its a matter of taste....BUT.....IMO, cars with wire wheels, by and large (and yes there are "some" exceptions) but cars with wire wheels look awful with whitewall tires.....especially Model A Ford's, Truck's and cars that also have SS trim rings installed!!! They totally kill the beauty and flow of the design of a car!!!! Now 36 Ford's and up with wheels (or hibcaps) that are full steel and color of the car, they look more pleasing to the eye. AGAIN JMO

One afternoon, when hanging at my Uncles Gulf Station, My Dad yell's at the guy walking in the office door "Hey You're Larry Fine" He just grinned said "Yeah" and shook both of our hands.
About four years later my high school buddy dated his niece. I had a car so we would double.
Years later, my date became wife #2
