I'm not really sure what I have or am missing here. I have what appears to be a freshly rebuild engine that was sitting on a later steel pan. This aluminum pan was with it. The short tray is attached and the painted one was loose elsewhere ... I don't have the original oil pump in the engine but may have one. Are the 32 pumps good or should I use a later pump somehow and adapt a tube to match the aluminum pan?
Also there appears to be 2 circular marks on the bottom, is this correct to see that or are they likely repairs?
Thanks for any input.
